Typical pre-development site cover, dense pines and scrub.

Camp Cable (green) was sited on a creek plain of modest hillocks and gullies.
The view above (from the west) shows creek gullies (blue) with the Albert River on the right. The base extended about 10km north-south, 4km east-west.
